HOW TO DECORATE YOUR HOME FOR CHRISTMAS LIKE 'LITTLE WOMEN'

Did you manage to see the 2019 version of Little Women, directed by Greta Gerwig at the cinema? It was a visual feast and we absolutely adored the way she told this story. We think the Christmas scenes were our favourite, along with the book binding scene at the end!
Paper and natural Christmas decorations for the home are back, here is how to decorate your home 'Little Women' style, to make your home look beautiful for the festive season:
- Popcorn (plain) and/or cranberry strings for the tree (make with a tapestry needle and wax cotton or dental floss!)
- Paper chains
- Greenery garlands (use yew, eucalyptus, spruce) across or around a doorway, room opening or fireplace
- Dried fruit slices like apple or orange on the garlands or tree
- Pine cones on the garlands or tree
- Paper stars - cut them out or fold them origami style - use them to decorate the tree (yew or branches)
- White candles, although we love these coloured ones too
- Velvet ribbon - you can see our selection here - make bows for the tree or garland
